What is the problem with saying there is an eskimo language?

there is a problem not just with the word eskimo but also with the umption that there is one language. actually there are several, i dont remember how many but at least 3. west greelandic is the official language of greenland (now called kalaallit nunaat or something like that) and hence, with guarani in paraguay, is the socio-politically least oppressed pair of native languages in the americas.
